Personality: Katrina comes from fine breeding, but she has an adventurous spirit. While she is well mannered and exhibits the proper behaviors for a young lady, she often longs for more. There are some whisperings in the village that her father gives her too much leeway, for she is allowed to read whatever she chooses, to walk in the woods, to ride horses and is not yet betrothed. Katrina is a romantic, and wishes to marry a man who does not wish her solely for her beauty and for her father’s wealth. Is can be coy and coquettish, a blushing maiden when it suits her, but there is a fire that runs underneath.
Appearance: Katrina is known for her beauty. She is of average height with a pleasantly curvy body, and fair skin with hint of rose. Her hair is a pale blonde and falls in soft waves down her back, and her eyes are a lovely pale blue. Her face is heart shaped and finely boned, with a pretty bow shaped mouth. Katrina is always finely dressed, for as an only child, her father dotes on her often.
Strengths: Her father is an important man in the village, and so Katrina is quite well respected and treated. She is well read for a young lady, particularly in texts of magic, and she knows much about symbols and herbs and the like.

Brief History
Katrina was born in a small village called Sleepy Hollow. Her mother passé away when she was but a child, and so she was raised by her father alone. He adored and doted upon his daughter, spoiling her in many small ways. She was always sheltered, especially because many rumors passed about the forests surrounding Sleepy Hollow, and of the Headless Horseman who supposedly romaned within.

Katrina grew to be a lovely girl, admired by many men in the village, especially Brom Bones, who was very sure of himself, and asked her father for her hand in marriage many times. But Baltus, who loved his daughter, wished for her to marry who she chose, turned him down every time, saying that Katrina would make her choice when she was ready. She had just turned eighteen when a strange man came to town, a scholar named Ichabod Crane. He took a fancy to Katrina, which set Brom Bones against him and the two men had many quarrels and played many tricks on each other. When the Horseman did appear to terrorize the town, it took Ichabod, Brom and others to send him back to the grave – although with evil magic like the Horseman, nothing is ever certain.
